You should always ensure that your private key - which is the key you use to sign transactions and prove you own the related public key is stored securely and never gets shared under any circumstances. Remember - not your keys, not your crypto.
For newcomers, find a trusted and reputable exchange to store your crypto and leave the responsibility of storing the crypto to us. However, make sure you set a very strong password for your exchange account to prevent other parties from getting access to your account. We would recommend that you use a password that is long (at least 10 characters and above) and contains uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. You can also use a random password generator to create a unique password. Always ensure that your passwords do not contain any personal information.
